The Thexton 14mm Wheel Stud Pilot Pin (499) is a specialized tool designed to simplify and improve the safety of wheel installation on vehicles that use lug bolts. This product is engineered to serve as a guide, providing a stable and secure way to hang the wheel on the hub. By screwing directly into one of the wheel bolt holes, the pin acts as a temporary stud, eliminating the need to balance a heavy wheel on the small lip of the hub while trying to insert the first lug bolt. This saves time and effort, and more importantly, it helps prevent potential damage to the brake rotor, hub, or the wheel itself. The pin is made from high-grade steel for reliability and is compatible with a range of European vehicles that commonly use M14 wheel lug bolts, including Audi, BMW, VW, Mercedes, and Porsche. Whether you are a professional technician or a car owner performing your own maintenance, this pilot pin is an essential addition to your toolkit for a smooth and effortless wheel mounting process.KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Effortless Wheel Installation: This tool acts as a guide, allowing you to easily hang the wheel on the hub, which makes aligning the bolt holes and inserting the lug bolts a quick and straightforward task.
