Overview
The Stabila 03360 LAX 400 multi-line self-leveling laser level is a red line laser kit built for fast, accurate indoor layout. This is a multi-line self-leveling laser level designed for establishing level control lines, square layout, and plumb transfer on walls, floors, and ceilings. Model Number: 03360.
You get a full 360 degree horizontal line for leveling around the entire room, plus two vertical lines at a ninety degree angle to each other for square layout. It also projects a plumb line up and a plumb dot down, so you can transfer points from floor to ceiling without swapping tools.
The feature that sets the LAX 400 apart is Stabila Manual Alignment. Use the knob to pivot the vertical layout to a target point while the tool rotates through the plumb-line dot, so you do not lose your reference point when you need to tweak the square. That is a big deal when you are laying out partitions, grid, or a long run that has to stay on axis.
Visibility is tuned for interior work, with bright, fine red laser lines you can work off up to 60 feet indoors. When you need more range, it has pulse-modulated lines for use with compatible red line laser detectors and the optional receiver (Stabila 07330).
On the practical side, the housing rotates and includes an extendable foot for quick height adjustment, especially when you are working directly above metal track and wooden plates. A mechanical pendulum lock engages when switched off to help protect the self-leveling mechanism during transport.
This kit is a good fit for contractors and serious DIYers doing interior layout work who want one laser that handles level, plumb, and square without wasting time repositioning. If you do drywall track, drop ceiling layout, framing layout, or interior remodeling, this is the type of laser level that earns its keep.
Layout Faster With 360 Degree Lines
When the whole room needs to be on the same plane, a continuous horizontal line keeps everyone working off the same reference without pulling tape marks on every wall.
- Full 360 degree horizontal line for establishing control lines around the room
- Bright red laser lines designed for indoor layout work
Stick It to Steel, Set It Over Track
This kit is built for real interior jobs where you are working off metal framing and overhead structure, not just a tripod in the middle of an empty room.
- V-groove magnet in the housing for attaching to steel objects
- Rotatable housing with extendable foot for height adjustment over metal track and wooden plates
Keep Your Axis When You Fine Tune
Squaring layout usually means nudging the laser and re-checking your point. Manual Alignment lets you pivot the vertical lines while staying true to the plumb down dot.
- Manual Alignment knob pivots the vertical laser lines to a target point
