Overview
The Milwaukee 48-73-8435C 79PC Class A Type III PACKOUT First Aid Kit is a modular jobsite first aid kit built around Milwaukee’s PACKOUT storage platform. This is a first aid kit designed for jobsite injury response and organized emergency supply storage. Model Number 48-73-8435C. It is aimed at contractors, service techs, shop owners, fleet crews, and serious DIY users who want first aid supplies stored the same way they manage their tools: protected, easy to spot, and easy to carry.
What makes this kit matter is not just the 79 included items. It is the way Milwaukee packaged them for actual work environments. The impact-resistant body helps the case handle drops, bumps, and rough transport. The clear lid lets you identify contents fast without opening the organizer, and the no-travel bin seals help prevent smaller items from shifting between compartments. On a jobsite, that saves time and keeps the kit usable instead of turning into a mixed-up mess after a week in the truck.
The IP65-rated protection is a big deal here. First aid supplies are only useful if they stay clean, dry, and intact. A weather-sealed case gives this kit an advantage over soft bags and basic plastic boxes that can let in dust, water, and debris. Milwaukee also built in heavy-duty latches and a reinforced hinge, which are the parts that usually fail first on storage cases that get opened and closed all day.
From an organization standpoint, this setup is better than a generic grab-and-go box because it is built around separated compartments and a transparent top. You can do a quick restock check without dumping everything out. That is especially useful for supervisors, safety leads, maintenance departments, and anyone responsible for making sure a crew kit is fully stocked before the next shift.
As part of the PACKOUT system, this Milwaukee first aid kit is also easier to keep with the rest of your gear. Modular connectivity with all PACKOUT components means it can live in the same stack as your hand tools, fasteners, and test gear. For field service, remodeling, punch-list work, and mobile crews, that is practical. It keeps emergency supplies visible and reachable instead of getting tossed in a separate bag that nobody remembers until something happens.
The included contents are tailored to common jobsite needs, including adhesive bandages, tape, antibiotic ointment, antiseptic towelettes, burn care items, a CPR face shield, eye pads, eyewash, gauze, trauma pads, gloves, scissors, and a triangular bandage. It also meets ANSI Z308.1-2015 Class A, Type III, which gives buyers a clear standard for what kind of workplace first aid coverage this kit is built to support.
Physically, the case measures 15.2 inches long, 9.8 inches wide, and 4.6 inches high, and weighs about 4.4 pounds. That puts it in a useful middle ground: large enough to carry a real selection of supplies, but still compact enough to move from truck to site to shop without being a burden. The polypropylene construction keeps weight reasonable while still giving the case the rigid feel you want in a PACKOUT organizer.
If you already run PACKOUT and want a first aid solution that actually belongs in that system, this is the clean answer. If you are outfitting a van, trailer, gang box, shop wall, or mobile service rig and want better protection and faster access than a basic red pouch, this kit makes sense. It is especially well suited for construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, facility maintenance, and general contracting where weather, dirt, and rough handling are normal.
Milwaukee 48-73-8435C 79PC Class A Type III PACKOUT First Aid Kit on the Job
This kit works best when it stays with the gear your crew already rolls in and out every day. PACKOUT compatibility means it can travel as part of your system instead of becoming an afterthought stuffed behind seats or under materials.
- Connects with all PACKOUT components
- Built for mobile crews, vans, trailers, and active jobsites
- Green first aid stickers help it stand out in a packed stack
See Supplies Fast
When somebody needs first aid, you do not want to hunt through a loose bag. The clear top and divided organizer layout make it easier to find the right item quickly and see what needs restocking before the next job.
- No-travel bin seals help keep small contents in their assigned compartments
- Transparent lid makes inventory checks faster
- Includes common wound care, burn care, eye care, and trauma response items
Built for Rough Handling
This is not a soft first aid pouch meant for a desk drawer. The impact-resistant body, reinforced hinge, and heavy-duty latches are there because jobsite storage gets dropped, kicked, stacked, and dragged around.
- IP65-rated weather seal helps protect contents from rain and debris
- Impact-resistant polypropylene case is made for transport
- Heavy-duty latches and reinforced hinge help the organizer stay closed and intact
