Key Features
One-Person LayoutThe remote lets one user align the laser from a distance, so a job that usually takes two people can be handled solo. That saves time on layout work and keeps the setup moving. Precise AdjustmentWith adjustment accuracy down to 3/32 inch at 100 feet, this laser alignment base helps dial in long runs without a lot of back-and-forth. That matters when layout errors turn into rework later. Built for Real FloorsAdjustable feet and a pivoting design make it easier to work on slightly uneven surfaces and ground-level materials. It is a practical laser accessory for real jobsite conditions, not just perfect slab work.
Overview
The Milwaukee 48-35-1314 Wireless Laser Alignment Base w/ Remote is a laser alignment base built to make layout faster, more precise, and easier to manage with one person. This is a laser accessory designed for layout and alignment tasks on the jobsite. Model Number: 48-35-1314. If you are already running compatible Milwaukee lasers and need a better way to fine-tune long-distance alignment, this accessory solves a real problem instead of adding another gimmick to the truck.
The big win here is remote alignment. Instead of walking back and forth to the laser or relying on a second set of hands, you can make adjustments with the included remote from up to 125 feet away. For layout work in larger rooms, commercial interiors, and open floor plans, that means less wasted movement and faster setup. Milwaukee also rates the system for precision adjustment down to 3/32 inch at 100 feet, which is the kind of accuracy that matters when you are setting lines that other trades will follow.
The base itself is designed to pivot on point, which makes fine alignment more controlled and less clumsy than shifting the entire laser by hand. That sounds like a small detail until you are trying to hit a line cleanly over distance. The adjustable feet add more leveling range, so you can work on slightly uneven surfaces or ground-level material without fighting the setup. In plain terms, it helps keep the laser where you want it instead of making you compensate for the floor every few minutes.
Milwaukee also built in a standard 1/4 inch – 20 thread mount for tripod use, which makes this accessory easier to fit into the setups many pros already use. That matters because a good laser accessory should not force you into a whole new support system just to get the benefit. Material composition is listed as polycarbonate, which helps keep weight down to 1.16 pounds while still being jobsite-friendly enough for transport and daily use.
Compatibility is one of the strongest reasons to buy this unit. The Milwaukee Wireless Laser Alignment Base works with Milwaukee M12 lasers, Milwaukee REDLITHIUM USB lasers, and standard 1/4 inch – 20 thread tripods. If you are already invested in Milwaukee layout tools, this gives you a more capable setup without replacing your laser. That makes it a smart upgrade for users who want more control over alignment but do not need to buy into a separate platform.
This accessory is best suited for contractors and tradespeople doing layout where speed and repeatable accuracy matter. General contractors, electricians, plumbers, interior build-out crews, remodelers, and concrete or framing teams can all get value from it when they are transferring lines, lining up work areas, or setting reference points over distance. Serious DIY users can use it too, but this is really aimed at people who do layout often enough to appreciate what remote adjustment and point-pivot control actually save on the clock.

Pro Tip
If you are laying out long runs, set the laser on the base first and use the remote for final alignment instead of nudging the whole unit by hand. That is where the 3/32 inch at 100 feet precision really pays off and keeps you from chasing the line back and forth.
